Zendaya will be recognized as a recipient of the Virtuosos Award Honorees

Los Angeles- One of the honorees that will be a recipient for the Virtuosos Award will be actress and director Zendaya.

Zendaya and other honorees will be recognized and honored during the 36th Santa Barbara International Film Festival. The award recognizes unique talents in performances that have elevated that person to great heights. “Even though the movie industry was turned upside down in 2020, this year’s impressive—and international—roster of Virtuosos proves that that there is still a great deal of exciting rising talent delivering wonderful work. I can’t wait to gather this phenomenal group and introduce them to the Santa Barbara audience.” says Dave Karger.

Riz Ahmed (Sound of Metal), Maria Bakalova (Borat Subsequent Moviefilm), Kingsley Ben-Adir (One Night in Miami), Andra Day (The United States vs. Billie Holiday), Sidney Flanigan (Never Rarely Sometimes Always), Vanessa Kirby (Pieces of a Woman), and Tahar Rahim (The Mauritanian) will be among Zendaya that will be honored.

The 36th Santa Barbara International Film Festival will start March 31st- April 10th
