Will the Panthers go after Bill Belichick

As another losing season is setting in upon the Carolinas, we are in the search for a new coach again.

I have my preferred choice but that would take an owner who has brass balls above his desk to actually apologize. A huge apology is needed, but a small public mea culpa would suffice. Do I think Mr. Tepper would do that? No. Steve Wilkes is the ultimate answer to the Carolina Panthers. Will it happen? Well, it is the season of miracles. Wilkes brought back our cultureand influence players to play as a team and ended his reign as Interim Head Coach with a .500 season.

Back to Coach Wilkes. This would appease players and fans alike. In Tepper’s defense he did say he wanted an OC minded HC, thus Reich. Plus, he also gave the fans some sentimental value with the hire, as he was our first starting qb. I do think that Reich had no chance here. Tepper is almost too passionate and needs to be more of an owner instead of coaching He needs to stand back and let the professionals do what they do. I think Wilkes and Belichick can ask him to back off politely.

What we need is a coach who will stand up to Tepper. There are two men who, in my opinion will do exactly that. Coach Wilkes and Bill Belichick. Now a lot of folks say Coach B is a has been, but I do not think he is. I think he drafted a bad attitude in Mac Jones. By bad, I mean Jones's work ethic The Pats have tried to trade him but no team wanted to pick up Jones.

I think Belichick can take the team andd turn around, bring back our identity and get us back on track. I also think he will stand up to Tepper when needed. Bill can get us out of draft hell. He knows how to draft and maybe he can teach Fitterer and Morgan some tricks to the trade. It will be interesting to see the route that the Panthers will take.
