Who is next for Manny Pacquiao

Manny Pacquiao (62-7-2, 39 KO) is ready to fight again. After his last fight ended with a victory over Keith Thurman back in July of 2019, he has not decided who he wants to fight next. After a two year break, there have been some opponents that are willing to be a challenger The 33-year-old Mikey Garcia (40-1, 30 KO), and the undefeated WBO titleholder Terence Crawford (37-0, 28 KO) seem to be making some noise in the division.

Crawford and Pacquiao seemed to have this fight set in 2020, until some finances fell through due to COVID-19. Then news came out that Crawford was also interested in a fight against Shawn Porter. This would be a fight that needs little promotion as many fans would love to see this matchup.

Garcia said that a fight with Pacquiao was being finalized sometime this year, but it has not been confirmed as of yet. This would also be a matchup fans would like to see. While Garcia struggled moving up to 147 and suffered a loss to Errol Spence Jr in December, he bounced back with a win against Jessie Vargas recently.

Both of these fights would be great matchups that the fans deserve. Both Garcia and Crawford would be great opponents for Pacquiao and his legacy. Now we wait and see who signs the contract first.
