Jimmy Butler and Stephen Curry impressed in the opening round of the Play-In Tournament.  Playoff Jimmy eased Curry's pressure on the big stage, and now they are taking the Golden State Warriors to the playoffs.

The Warriors beat the Memphis Grizzlies 121-116 in the Play-In Tournament on Tuesday night to earn the seventh seed in the Western Conference. Butler scored 38 points, Curry scored 37, and the Warriors earned the seventh seed in the Western Conference.   As a result, Golden State will play a best-of-seven series against the Rockets beginning on Sunday in Houston.

Desmond Bane scored 30 points and Ja Morant added 22 for Memphis. Memphis will head home to play on Friday against the winner of the Mavericks-Kings matchup on Wednesday night in Sacramento to determine the eighth playoff spot.  Despite rolling his right ankle after stepping on Buddy Hield's foot, Morant returned and completed the game. This is something to keep in mind for the upcoming contest.  Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 18 points, while Zach Edey contributed 14 points and 17 rebounds.

The upcoming series against the Rockets will feature key matchups that could determine the outcome.  Jimmy Butler's defensive skills and scoring ability will be vital in countering the Rockets' offensive threat.  Meanwhile, Stephen Curry's sharpshooting and leadership will be vital in creating scoring opportunities and maintaining momentum for the Warriors as they face off against Houston's dynamic backcourt.   I'm looking forward to this series
