Vintage James Harden and Kawhi Leonard combines for 60 in W over Kings
If you are a Clippers' fan, you were probably happy at the results the Clippers gave you last night, defeating the Kings 131-117. Not only did the Clippers defeated a top team, but James Harden and Kawhi Leonard were cooking.
This was the first time since the trade that both Harden and Leonard had a respective game of 20 or more points. Plus PG 13 had 19 to cap off the night. From start to finish, the Clippers had close to a perfect night. They only had four turnovers in the game and kept their foot on the gas when the Kings were making runs. Outside of Fox's 40 point night, LA shut down everyone else.
“It’s not about just me, Paul and James or (Russell Westbrook),” Leonard said. “It’s about the whole collective group. There’s going to be nights when I’m double-teamed or the defense isn’t letting me play. I have to allow myself to let them win the game. We did a good job of getting to our spots, being aggressive.”
