Vanessa Bryant will be recognized and honored at the 2021 BABY2BABY Gala event

Los Angeles- Vanessa Bryant will be honored with the Giving Tree Award for her contributions to the Baby2Bay Foundation.

Vanessa has always been a fan of helping people out, so she dived head first into helping out the Baby2Baby Foundation. For those who do not know the mission of the foundation, Baby2Baby is a foundation that provide children living in poverty with the basic necessities that they need in order to have a healthy living lifestyle. Vanessa has been apart of the foundation for years and used her status to make a change for these children.

Since the global pandemic happened, Vanessa as well as others have been constantly making sure that families and children get the necessities that they need to survive the pandemic.

Baby2Baby has distributed 100 million basic essentials including diapers, formula, clothing, cribs, soap, shampoo, school supplies, hand sanitizer, masks, food and more to one million children in over 150 cities across the country. Baby2Baby continues to deliver over one million items each week to the most vulnerable communities impacted by the pandemic and recent natural disasters.

“We are so proud to announce Vanessa Bryant as this year’s honoree at a time when it’s even more critical for us to come together for the children we serve because of the impact of the pandemic on families in poverty," shared Baby2Baby Co-CEOs Norah Weinstein and Kelly Sawyer Patricof. "The longtime support that Vanessa has given to Baby2Baby is incredible but it has been the behind the scenes generosity toward the children in our program with no fanfare or attention that makes her the perfect embodiment of the Giving Tree Award."

The gala will be hosted November. 13.
