Trae Young steals the Knicks' mojo
It seems like Trae Young loves playing against the Knick, because he turns into a straight ice-blooded killer on the court. With a chance to advance and play in the championship game for the in-tournament game, the Hawks turned on the Heat and put the Knicks in a shamble.
Young was stirring up the pot with getting his teammates involved but exploded in the second half. It was nothing that the Knicks could do to stop the attack. Trigga Trae hit a dagger three with three minutes left in regulation to extend the Hawks' lead to double figures. After he hit the three, he rolled the dice on New Yorks logo, silencing the crowd and in his own unique way told the fans, I own New York. Young finished with 22 points, 11 dishes, and 5 boards in the 108-100 victory.
This has not been the first time that Young has silenced Knicks fans in a knockout round. He did it in 2020, as well as each time he plays the Knicks. Young has a way with his words and as he stated, he loves playing New York.
Despite the loss, BIG KAT finished with 19 boards, 19 points, and 5 dishes.
