The Woods family falls short in PNC Championship

Tiger Woods and his son Charlie Woods put on a show this past weekend but fell short to Bernhard Langer and his son Jason.

Charlie who has impressed the golfing world, did something amazing on Sunday. He hit a very impressive 7-iron on the par-3 fourth hole for his first ace, Despite the intensity of the tournament, Langer and his son took the victory lap, after hitting an 18-foot eagle putt to close out the day. After a round of an applause, Woods was very amazed at his son and had some praise for him during the post-game conferences.

"That was the thrill of a lifetime to be able to have that moment with Charlie, make his first hole-in-one, (daughter) Sam on the bag, just our family and friends. That's what this event is about. It's about bonding and family," Woods said. "I know we didn't win, but it was the fact that we competed," he said. "No one really made a mistake out there. We had to earn it, and that's what you want to have. Hats off to Langers. They played amazing."

Charlie is only 15 years old, and he is improving each and every tournament that he is in. It will be only a matter of time that the world will be calling Charlie one of the upcoming golfers of his time.
