The Suns take a W in a very physical game against the Clippers in Game 4, 84-80
Phoenix, AZ- The Suns are one game away from going to the NBA Finals after defeating the Clippers in Game 4.
In a very scrappy and hard fought game, the Suns did what they had to do in order to win. After Devin Booker fouled out early in the fourth. Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton made sure that the Suns' lead was intact late down the stretch after the Clippers went on 14-6 run.
With under .50 seconds left in regulation, Phoenix stopped Paul George from hitting a three pointer, which could have tied the game up. After playing the foul game with only seconds left in the game, which seemed like an eternity, the Suns sunk in two free throws to put the game out of reach.
After the game was over, Chris Paul had this to say about being focused and closing the series out. "We can talk about all that then, but right now, it's just laser focus.."Three wins don't win the series, so right now, we did what we came here to do. We wanted to get one of these, and now we got to stay focused and be ready to go back to our crowd."
Paul finished with 18 points, 7 assists, and 4 rebounds.
