The Slim Reaper returns to Olympic play on a heater in a victory over Serbia110-84

Team USA kicked off their first Olympic match against Serbia. At first there were some concerns as the Serbians went on a 10-2 run right out the gate, forcing Steve Kerr to call a timeout. I guess, Coach Kerr was a little bit animated in the huddle, because Team USA had a little bounce to their step right after the timeout.

Mid-range Slim Reaper Keven Durant returned to the line-up and made an immediate impact as he scored 11 points in five minutes With KD being on the floor that sparked a much-needed energy burst for Team USA. Durant finished the half with 21 points and z. Despite, KD's scoring spurt, Serbia was hanging around with their outside shooting. Team USA had 58-49 at the half.

The Slim Reaper set the tone for Team USA, so coming out of the locker room, Coach Kerr wanted to push the pace of the game in the second half. Things got a bit tense early in the third quarter. LeBron James and a Serbian player got into a pushing match, and it resulted in the refs attempting to sort things out. Prior to the incident, there was a lot of jawing back and forth between the two teams. While we were amazed about KD's welcome home party, LBJ was putting on a clinic on both sides of the ball. From scoring downhill, to throwing lobs to Anthony Davis, James was putting his stamp on the game. The Fourth quarter was just Team USA cruising to a victory. LBJ finished with 21 points, Durant finish with 23 points.
