The preseason is now at its midpoint following the Phoenix Suns' defeat to the Detroit Pistons, with a final score of 109-91.

The Suns faced challenges right from the outset, particularly in the absence of Devin Booker, which allowed the Pistons to seize control and maintain their lead throughout the game. Detroit effectively countered every move made by the Suns, thanks to the impressive, combined performance of Tobias Harris and Cade Cunningham. The duo scored a total of 47 points, demonstrating their offensive strength and guiding the Pistons to a decisive win.

Despite the Suns' attempts to make a comeback, with several players stepping up to compensate for Booker's missing presence, they struggled against the Pistons’ tenacious defense and accurate shooting.

As the match unfolded, it became evident that while the Suns possess talent, they still need to develop better teamwork and synergy to elevate their performance for the upcoming season. After two strong showings, this loss felt like a disappointment, but it’s important to remember that it's only preseason.
