I guess the Mavericks wanted to stomp the hope out of the T-Wolves, because the Mavericks came out swinging in the first quarter of Game 5. Luka Donic was cooking in the first quarter. He had 20 points only in the quarter and there wasn't anything anyone could do stop Luka from stirring up his potion. Luka finished the half with 25, while his "Robin" in Kyrie Irving had 19.

Dallas took the crowd out of the game by just embarrassing the Wolves in an all-around dominate performance. They shot around 55% from the field, kept Ant Man and KAT from being effective, and was getting easy baskets. It seemed like Minnesota just quit on themselves. Each time it look like Minnesota was going to go on a run, Dallas shut that up and hit threes to extend their lead. After it was all said and done, the underdogs in the Mavs defeated the Wolves 124-103
