The Final Boss wants Cody Rhodes to be his champion and not the "People's Champion"

The Rock has not made his presence known since the start of the year with WWE turning a new page with going the Netflix route. On Friday, things got a bit dicey with Rhodes and the Rock's storyline.
In the segment of the night, the Final Boss praised Rhodes for going against the grain and overcoming executive orders with being the champion the WWE needed and not the Rock. From front to back, the Rock showcased more of a friendly attitude and looked at Rhodes as a brother, but things changed in the last 10 minutes of the segment. The Final Boss said that he wanted Rhodes to be his champion, and he could give him everything he wanted and more. Rhodes was so shocked that he asked the Rock, what did he want. The Rock looked at Rhodes and told him that he wanted his soul, and he better have an answer by Elimination Chamber.
Things took a left in this storyline and a lot of fans are left with a potential heel switch for Rhodes. Only time will tell, but another rock was thrown in this storyline.
