The Eagles keep flying undefeated, despite a slow start against the Texans 29-17

Philadelphia- The Eagles continue their win streak.

The Eagles have been one of the most surprising teams thus far and they had their chance to showcase their talents against the Texans with a Thursday Night showdown. Philadelphia's first half was messy and filled with conservative play-calling, missed field goal as well as a fumble that the Texans did not take advantage of. One of the bright spots in the half was the Eagles punching the ball in the endzone on a 9 play, 77-yard drive to take a 14-7 lead. However, their lead disappeared as Houston fought hard and scored a touchdown right before half to knot it up at 14. Who would have thought a struggling Texan team would have the Eagles' offense stalling.

While the offense was struggling, the defense was bailing them out. Philly got an interception out of their defense, which turned into a 17-yard touchdown from Jalen Hurts to AJ Brown one play after the turnover, which gave the birds a bit of breathing room for the time being. At the start of the fourth, the Eagles extended their lead with another touchdown. The Eagles went on to win a game in which they were highly favored but moving forward their run defense needs to improve. Houston gashed Philadelphia for 168 yards on the ground. For the last two games, Philadelphia has struggled to contain their opponents on the ground. If it continues, they will be in some trouble later in the season.
