The Eagles are back in playoff contention after defeating the Saints 40-29
Philadelphia- The Eagles are riding high with a victory over the New Orleans Saints.
With playoff implications starting to happen, as well as teams starting to find their groove, the Eagles found themselves right in the mix for a playoff push. From start to finish, Philadelphia controlled the pace of the game. The Eagles offensive strategy was very simple; stop us from running the ball. Jalen Hurts, Miles Sanders, Boston Scott, and Jordan Howard contributed to the Eagles' success on the ground.
Philadelphia had over 200 yards on the ground, which gave the Saints a headache trying to stop the run. The game was pretty much over in the fourth when the Eagles made it a 33-19 game.
With the win over the Saints, the Eagles will go to 5-6 and have a date next week with their divisional foe in the New York Giants.
