The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras premieres August 14th on MTV

MTV’s The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras premieres on Wednesday, August 14th at 8 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.  The new season will feature 40 competitors from most of the 26-year history of the show, that will represent their own “Challenge Era” that will try and earn a share of the one-million-dollar prize.  A few of the names that will be featured for the Challenge 40 will be seven-time winner Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio, CT Tamburello (5x winner), Darrell Taylor, Jordan Wiseley, Derrick Kosinski, Mark Long, Jonna Mannion, and many more.  Seasons 1-10 will be represented by the Era 1 team, and have competitors like Tina Barta, Rachel Robinson and many more.  Seasons 11 – 20 will be represented by Era 2, Era 3 will be represented by Seasons 21 to 30, Seasons 31 -39 will be represented by Era 4 group.
