Los Angles- The Television Academy and Emmy nominees have pledge to donate $2.8 million to the No Kid Hungry Campaign.

There are a lot of children that may not eat because of the COVID-19 pandemic, so the Television Academy and Emmy Nominees want to make sure that they can help out these children. They are donating $2.8 million to make sure that they are doing their part to make sure children are getting something to eat.

"No child should go hungry in America but in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, 1 in 4 kids could face hunger this year. No Kid Hungry is working to end childhood hunger by helping launch and improve programs that give all kids the healthy food they need to thrive. This is a problem we know how to solve. No Kid Hungry is a campaign of Share Our Strength, an organization working to end hunger and poverty. Join us at NoKidHungry.org, " said a representative with the organization.

The Emmys will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and will be broadcasting live September 20, 8 Pm EST.
