Team WNBA defeated Team USA 117-109 behind the 34 points of Arike Ogunbowale, who earned her second All-Star Game MVP award.

In front of 16,407 fans at Footprint Center, Arike Ogunbowale set a record with 34 points to earn her second All-Star Game MVP award. She also led Team WNBA to a 117-109 victory over Team USA in the annual Women's All-Star Game.

At halftime of Saturday's WNBA All-Star Game, Team WNBA trailed by two. Coach Cheryl Miller pointed to Ogunbowale and called her out unexpectedly. Ogunbowale responded to being scoreless in the first half, by exploding for 34 points in the second half. This helped propel the team to victory.

As part of the Team WNBA, Ogunbowale was complemented by Kelsey Mitchell with 13 points, Allisha Gray with 16 points, and Nneka Ogwumike with 14 points. Caitlin Clark, the Indiana Fever rookie who had the most votes among all players going into the All-Star Game, finished with 10 assists, just one shy of Sue Bird's record for the game just three days after setting a WNBA record with 19 assists in a single game. With 12 points and 11 rebounds, rookie Angel Reese became the first rookie to record a double-double in this game.

In this game, Team USA's Breanna Stewart registered a double-double with 31 points and 10 rebounds, making her the first player with 30 points and 10 rebounds in a WNBA All-Star Game. A'ja Wilson scored 22 points, Diana Taurasi contributed 14 points, and Brittney Griner chipped in with 10 points.

In my opinion, this year's WNBA All-Star game was entertaining and highly competitive from the beginning of the game, so I enjoyed watching it more than I did the NBA All-Star game in my opinion
