Team USA advances to Gold Medal Game

With only Australia in the way of the Gold Medal game, all Team USA needed to do was take care of business. Aja Wilson got the party with a few blocks to help spring Team USA to an early 10-4 lead. Jackie Young and Breanna Stewart went to work and combined for 30 points in the game.

We can talk about the scoring of Team USA, but their defense stiffed Australia and gave them a stiff arm. They stole the ball 10 times and scored 19 points off the turnovers. Team USA poured in on in the second half and defeated Australia 85-63.
