Suns get a huge victory over Nets

Patricia Scott

In a commanding performance last night, the Phoenix Suns defeated the Brooklyn Nets 108-84, marking a significant milestone for their defense as they held their opponents to just 84 points—the lowest total they have allowed this season.

The game was characterized by a level of sloppiness that could be likened to a toddler wrestling with a plate of spaghetti, with both teams struggling to maintain possession and execute clean plays. Despite the chaotic nature of the contest, the Suns managed to control the pace and dictate the flow of the game.

Offensively, the Suns didn’t need to dazzle to secure the win. Devin Booker was the standout performer, effortlessly pouring in 32 points while showcasing his scoring versatility. His contributions were crucial in building a lead that Brooklyn could never overcome. Meanwhile, Kevin Durant had a more subdued role, enjoying a well-deserved break after three quarters as the Suns maintained a comfortable advantage.

Brooklyn, on the other hand, struggled to find their rhythm throughout the game. The Suns’ defensive intensity thwarted their attempts to establish any offensive momentum, leaving them unable to mount a serious challenge.
