Sunday night baseball on ESPN has increased since last season

We all love baseball, and after being hit with a pandemic at the brink of 2020, we were all eager to get sports back. In 2020, views were at an average of 1,191,000 million viewers per game which seems like a lot.

Viewership has increased this year. Through four games, Sunday night baseball has averaged a total of 1,709,000 million viewers. This is 38% more than the previous year.

Following this news, the April 25th Padres vs. Dodgers game racked up 2,010,000 million viewers, which ranked the highest rated game in the San Diego market with a 9.9 rating. This is the highest rating on ESPN, since April 11, 2004 which had a 12.2 rating.
