Sha'Carri Richardson wins her first Olympic heat
For the first time in Sha'Carri Richardson's career, she has won an Olympic heat. Competing in the women's 100 Meter race on Friday, she casually crossed the line first with a time of 10.94 with no contenders in sight.
Despite earning a time of 10.94 in the heat, Richardson came out the block a little slow but made up the speed within 50 meters of the race. Richardson was pretty pumped about her finish but is still focus on what's ahead of her. She has advanced to the semifinals on Saturday.
