Sha'carri Richardson places fourth in 200 Meters
New York- Sha'carri Richardson takes forth place in the 200 meters with a score of 22.4
After placing last place in the 100 M in Eugene, Richardson was very outspoken and very motivated to prove all of the haters wrong. On Friday, she had a chance to silence her critics up with running in the 200 M at Brussels. Richardson had one of the fastest times in the 200 M this season, but she had to run against Shericka Jackson, who is improving her time each and every time she steps on the track.
With Jackson being the favorite to win, Richardson did not have all the pressure she had in the previous meet. Richardson was not as chatty as she usually is and was pretty focus prior to the race.
Coming out of the blocks, Richardson had a great jump out to the front. She was out in a hurry, but could not maintain her legs with under 100 meters left. Christine Mboma took first, Jackson placed second, third was Dina Smith Asher and Richardson was fourth place.
