Serena Williams defeats Nina Stojanovic' 6-3, 6-0 and advances to the next round

New York- Serena Williams is looking like herself after defeating Nina Stojanovic 6-3, 6-0 in the second round of the Australian Open.

Williams looked sharp against Stojanovic in the first set. After leading 2-1 in the first set, Williams took it to her opponent. Williams hit frecious cross shots that had Stojanovic uncertain on what to do next. The backhand of Williams did damage as well. What little confidence, Stojanovic had coming into the match, it was taking by Williams in the first set 6-3.

In the second set, Williams poured it on and did not allow Stojanovic to win a game in the set. It seemed like Williams was gaining more confidence in the later stages and once that happens, usually Williams starts hitting the ball accurately and rarely commits unforced errors. Williams defeated Stojanovic in the second set 6-0.

"It's really about finding that key balance there for me," Williams said after the match. Williams will be facing Anastasia Potapova in the next round.
