Rams send Vikings back to their ships, defeating them 27-9
With all of the wildfires going on in California, the game between the Rams and Vikings was moved to Arizona. Despite not being in their home, the Rams brought the LA spirit to Arizona and put on a show. The Rams' offense got out to a very fast start in the first half. The Rams scored 24 points in the first half, sending a message to the league that they too can score points in bunches. Matthew Stafford finished the half 14/20 for 154 yards and two touchdowns.
With everything going their way, the Rams wanted to stay mistake free and continue to punch the ball down the throats of the Vikings. For majority of the second half, the Rams were very conversative with just running the ball and allowing Kyren Williams to get his reps in. La tacked on a field goal late in the third. All night long, the Rams defense put Sam Darnold i the torture chamber as they sacked Darnold nine times. LA finished the game in complete domination and move to the divisional round to face the Eagles. Stafford finished 19 of 27 for 209 yards and 2 touchdowns.
