Rams saved by Puka Nacua in OT
The game itself was a tale of two halves. On one hand, the Rams' offense explodes in the first half, putting up 23 points against a very "; laxed" Colt's' defense. If you were a Ram's fan, you thought the game was finished with a rookie quarterback throwing against your defense, down big. Nope, that was not the case. In the second half, Rams offense went cold as well as their defense, who couldn’t stop a runny nose, as the Colts came storming back, led by Rookie QB Anthony Richardson (3 TDs…2 passing & 1 rushing TD) , & some brutal runs by RB Zach. The Colts forced OT.
Los Angeles won the coin toss to start OT. They elected to receive the ball to start. LAR dominated time of possession in OT, as a beat up (Joe Kapp esque) Matt Stanford hit Puka Nacua (1st NFL TD {9/163}) for a 22-yard walk off TD win (29-23) to end the game. Outside of their victory Nacua set a NFL record, having 39 catches in his first four games.
