Raiders finish the regular season on a high note
The Raiders defeated their rival AFC West rivals for the eighth consecutive time and for the 10th time in the past 11 games. That included a 4-0 record in Las Vegas.
The Raiders dominated this game against the Broncos with touchdowns from Davante Adams and 2 touchdowns from Jakobi Meyers. Adams became just the second NFL player to catch 100 passes in four consecutive seasons, joining Buffalo's Stefon Diggs. Zamir White kept the ground game flowing running for 112 yards on 25 carriers. With five sacks, eight tackles for loss and an interception, that Raiders defense delivered another dominating performance today.
The future is very bright for this team as they have a major decision to make at the QB position.
With this win Las Vegas has been 5-4 since interim coach Antonio Pierce replaced Josh McDaniels on Halloween night, and fans chanted “AP!” toward the end of the game. The coaching change brought new life to the team and organization. Pierce had the team playing the RAIDER way which was something the fans hadn’t seen in a long time. I am confident that Coach Pierce, with the support of the franchise players and fans, will be the next head coach of the Raiders, and I have no doubt about that.
