President Barack Obama wins award for Outstanding Literary Work during 52nd NAACP Image Awards
Los Angeles- President Barack Obama was one of the recipients that won an award in the non-televised award categories during the 52nd NAACP Image Awards.
President Obama won an award for his luxurious literary work with for A Promised Land." Other winners included, Walter Mosely for Outstanding Literary Work - Fiction, “John Lewis: Good Trouble” for Outstanding Documentary (Film), Reverend Dr. Wendell Anthony for Activist Of The Year and Madison Potts for Youth Activist Of The Year.
The week long virtual NAACP Image Awards invites fans to celebrate "Black Excellence” throughout the week. The image Awards will air on BET Networks Saturday, Match 27 at 8 PM, ET.
