With a chance to earn a spot in the Super Bowl, the Philadelphia Eagles had to get passed their NFC East rivals in the Washington Commanders. The first quarter was the Saquan Barkley show as he sprinted 60-yards on his first touch to open up the game with the Eagles first score. After Philadelphia forced a turnover, Barkley went right back to work and scored a 6-yard touchdown to extend Philadelphia's lead 14-3. After a quick start, both teams started to settle in defensively. After Jake Elliott missed a 53-yard field goal, Washington took advantage of the field position and scored a touchdown but could not convert the 2-point conversion to cut Philadelphia's lead 14-12. The Eagles scored 14 points in the last four minutes of the half to really put pressure on the Commanders going into the second half.

Heading back onto the field with a 27-15, Philadelphia was looking to close the casket on this game. They were a bit more aggressive and scored on their second possession of the second half. Things got a bit interesting as J. Danials marched his team down the field and scored on a keeper to cut the Eagles' lead to 11. Momentum was switching to Washington's side, but the Eagles' defense forced a fumbled and scored off the turnover to basically put the cap on the game 55-23. The Eagles will face either the Bills or the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.
