Packers, Cowboys, and 49ers take home wins on Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving is a day where individuals around the globe, celebrate and reflect their times with family and friends enjoying each other. With the holiday comes family traditions like watching football games and that is where we will start as the Lions took on the Packers to start the day off.

Packers' defense put the Lions in a Grinchy mood with a 29-22 win

Detriot has suprised the league with an 8-2 record with Jared Goff behind center and was leading in their division, while Green Bay was trying to find their stride. This game was pretty lopsided in favor of the Packers in the first half. Their defense was stonewalling Goff and forced two fumbles that tranisition into points. At the end of the break, Green Bay had a 23-6 lead.


Things got pretty interesting in the second half as the game progressed. Detriot got themselves back in the game with a 5-yard hit stick touchdown run by David Montgomery to cut the Packers' lead to nine. Each time it seemed like the Lions would take control of the game, the Packers would make huge plays on both sides of the ball to keep their lead intact. Jordan Love was HIM as he put the team on his back, converted big throws to extend drives in crucial moments and eventually walked away with a Thanksgiving victory. Love fiished with 22/32 for 268 yards and 3 td's


Dallas walks to the Turkey line after defeating Washington

In this intense rivalry, the Cowboys got the better of the Commanders. Dak Prescott had a solid game passing for 331 yards and 4 touchdowns. Outside of their offense, the Cowboys' defense had Sam Howell brushing himself off the ground, almost every play. Washington could not get anything going and only had a total of 376 yards in the blowout loss, 45-10.

49ers put the Seahawks to sleep in Thanksgiving nightcap 31-13


The 49ers put on a show in the nightcap. Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey was unstoppable as they stacked up yards against the Seahawks. CMC was putting people in the blender and had one touchdown that was a potential Sportcenter top 10 play. He finished the game with 19 carries for 114 yards and 2 td's. Purdy finished the night 21/30 for 209 yards, 1 td, and 1 pick. The defense gave Geno Smith and the Seahawks nightmares as they sacked Smith 6 times and held DK Metccalf to 32 yards in a huge victory.
