Orlando edges Wizards, 130-120
Orlando- The Magic had five players that were in double figures in a victory over the Washington Wizards, 130-120.
The young and sturdy players for the Magic put on a show against Wizards. They shot the ball pretty well throughout the game and had a couple of crucial defensive stops late into the fourth quarter. Orlando finished the game shooting 50% from the field and 35% from behind the arc.
Terrence Ross was the key factor in the game. Instead of settling for jumpshots, Ross was putting the ball on the floor and driving into the lane. He was making the Wizards' defense commit to his aggression, which left other players wide-open to nail down shots. Ross played with intensity and the Wizards fed off of that energy.
Orlando control the paint and used their size against the smaller defenders. They finished the game with a total of 54 rebounds. With the win over the Wizards, the Magic are now 2-0 and are starting to figure out their identity.
