New Balance Indoor Grand Prix set for Feb.13

New York- The New Balance Indoor Grand Prix will be held with some big names returning on Feb. 13.

Sydney McLaughlin, Noah Lyles and Trayvon Bromell will be competing at the meet for a chance to win the trophy. With all of these safety precautions, athletes are required to take Covid tests to make sure that they do not test positive for COVID-19, wear face masks, and practice social distancing.

The Grand Prix has been moved to NYC Parks’ Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island and will limit attendees, due to COVID protocol.

New Balance Indoor Grand Prix will be shown live on NBC from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13 and is the only gold-level U.S. stop on the World Athletics Indoor Tour. The series of the best indoor athletics events around the world awards overall tour winners $10,000 and a guaranteed spot at next edition of the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Belgrade 2022.
