New York- Tennis Superstar Naomi Osaka wins Best Athlete in Woman Sports at the unique and intimate ESPYS.
Osaka, who has won the hearts of individuals around the globe with her messages of mental health, Black Lives Matter, and encouraging words to the youth took home the Best Athlete in Woman Sports. With an audience under 200 people, Osaka gave a very short and transparent speech. She thanked her supporters, praised her peers, and thanked the ESPYS for the award.
Osaka has won four major in t three years and is ranked #2 in women's tennis. She may suffer from social anxiety, but she has inspired conversation about mental health, athletes talking about mental health, and getting the help that they need in order to feel like themselves.
