Naomi Osaka will skip tournament in Stuttgart

Miami, FL- During a press conference at the Miami Open, Naomi Osaka announced that she has decided not to participate in the Stuttgart Open.

Osaka, who has done a lot of traveling in the past year, has decided that she was going to skip out on the Stuttgart Open an focused more on the French Open. Osaka explained that she will strategically pick out tournaments that she want to play in instead of lumping tournaments into each each other.

“Hopefully it will work for me this time in Europe because my results there haven’t been that great," Osaka said. "I feel like every year I am on tour I learn more about myself and what type of schedule I like to play."
