Miss America Competition Returns Dec. 16
New York- Miss America is returning to crown a new queen of the pageant December. 16
The competitive and thrilling Miss America competition will return back to its new location Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut.
After canceling the pageant last year, due to the global pandemic, this year the celebrations will be bigger with the return of fans, as well as the celebration of 100 years for the organization. Prior to the competition, there will be many events held in recognition of the 100 years that Miss America has been impacting women, as well as how the organization has impacted their community in a positive manner.
“We’re thrilled to be back at our glamorous new home at Mohegan Sun”, said MAO CEO Shantel Krebs. “As Miss America begins her second century of empowering women through scholarships and opportunities, we’re looking forward to showcasing that this program is more important and relevant than it ever has been.”
“Besides the competitive events, there are lots of events being planned to honor Miss America’s tremendous impact of preparing great women for the world and preparing the world for great women," said Krebs. “Miss America has broken barriers and truly made a difference in our home towns, states, and our nation.”
With everything gradually returning back to normal, everyone involved is pretty excited about about the return of competition
