Miss America and Global Game Changers announce Education Partnership

Global Game Changers and Miss America have announced an education partnership thanks to aligned missions and outreach.  Based on shared commitment to service, talent development, and education, the partnership also places an emphasis on contestants’ talents and engaging in social impact initiatives.  The Global Game Changers Student Empowerment program creates leadership skills in Pre-K-5th grade enhancing developmental skills used by tools to develop social and emotional services.  It will also create a $2500 scholarship for Miss America candidates who wish to enter the field of elementary education.  The scholarship will also allow women that have competed at the local, state, and/or national level of the Miss Division of the Miss America Organization regardless of whether a title was won or not.
