Miami Dolphins Continue Their Win Streak, Defeating the Giants 20-9
The Miami Dolphins hosted the New York Giants today looking to go five wins in a row. With a
Giants team without their starting quarterback Daniel the Dolphins defense looked
to take advantage of the Giants offense holding them under 200 yards passing, sacking the
Giants backup quarterback three times and forcing an interception.
Tua Tagovailoa came out today playing smart and mistake free football putting up solid numbers in the air throwing for 30/41 244 yards 2 touchdowns 0 interceptions. This was a winnable game for the Dolphins and they made sure it stayed that way defeating the Giants 20-9. Since starting the season 1-7, the Dolphins have bounced back, winning 5 in a row. With the win today they became the fourth team in NFL history to start 1-7 and get to 6-7. Miami will look to continue this winning streak to possibly get the chance at the 7th seed in the AFC. The Dolphins have the bye for next week and their final matchups will be the Jets, Saints, Titans and Patriots. If the Dolphins don’t have a chance to get to the playoffs they could be spoilers for the Titans trying to win the AFC South or division rival New England Patriots who are trying to keep first place from the Bills.
