Mercury stun Aces 98-88

Phoenix got a huge gift when they signed Kahleah Copper and she showed up last night. I don't know who made Copper upset, but she played like she was going to kill the Aces. From the start of the game to the finish, Copper was unstoppable. She was creating shots for her teammates, making the right reads, and getting to her spots on the floor, while shooting around 50% from the field. Copper finished with 37 points.

I don't know if this was a statement game from the Mercury to let others know around the league that they are not the team from last year, but they held Kia Stokes to 11 points. Moving forward, if Phoenix can play the way that they played against the 2x time champs than look out world, Phoenix could go deep in the playoffs.
