Megan Thee Stallion becomes first rapper to land a Sports Illustrated cover

Los Angeles- Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion breaks history and becomes the first rapper to land a Sports Illustrated cover.



With the 58th annual installment of Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition, Megan The Stallion graced the cover in historical fashion. This was the first time Sports Illustrated gave a rapper a front row cover. The rapper has been sprung into the limelight after her hit song "Savage" was released two year ago. After Savage was heard every where, Megan begin to pop and had everyone dancing to her theme songs like WOP and Body. She even coined the term "Hot Girl Summer" Megan had this to say about the historical cover.



“Thee first female rapper on the cover of @si_swimsuit,” Megan wrote on the social media platform. “I want to thank all the strong women in my life who inspired me to love my body and live my best hot girl life. It means the world to me to be on this cover DREAM COME TRUE!!”
