Megan Rapinoe returns back to the Olympics

Tokyo- Future soccer hall of famer Megan Rapinoe will be returning back to the Olympics, which will be her third in her career.

In a quest for anther gold medal for the United States, Rapinoe and Team USA will have to go through obstacles to get there. The last time Team USA won Gold was in 2012. Rapinoe is very excited about the opportunity to play in another Olympics, as well as taking on the challenge with potentially placing.

On Thursday, the USWST released the players that were going to be on this years' Olympic team. Check out who made the cut.

Forwards: Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe, Tobin Heath, Christen Press, and Carli Lloyd

Midfielders: Julie Ertz, Samantha Mewis, Lindsey Horan, Rose Lavelle, and Kristie Mewis

Defenders: Becky Sauerbrunn, Tierna Davidson, Abby Dahlkemper, Kelley O'Hara, Crystal Dunn, and Emily Sonnett.

Goalkeepers: Alyssa Naeher and Adrianna Franch
