Luka Doncic shines in Olympic debut with Slovenia

Tokyo- Dallas superstar Luka Doncic finished with 48 points in a blowout victory over Argentina 118-100.

In his first game playing for Slovenia, Doncic went to work. From inside and out, Argentina had no answer to stop him. By the end of the first half, Donic was the leading scorer for both teams with 31 points. Doncic and crew kept their foot on the pedal and crushed Argentina in the second half.

"For me, I said this two years ago: He is the best player in the world, including the NBA,” Argentina coach Sergio Hernandez said after the game. “And if there was any doubt in my mind, there is no doubt anymore. He is the best player in the world.

Doncic is only 22 years old and is only getting better each time he puts his feet on the court. With a blowout win over Argentina, Doncic and crew sent out a vivid message to the other basketball teams in the tournament. Simply put, do not count us out.
