LeBron James drops a triple double in a victory over the Thunder, 119-112
Los Angeles- LeBron James hit a triple double lottery ticket in a victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
After a sluggish first half, James started to take over. He was being very aggressive with driving down the lane and getting his teammates involved. Dennis Schroder, Wesley Matthews, and Montrezl Harrell all fed off of James' energy and went on a 10-2 run in the third to give themselves some breathing room.
However in the fourth, the Lakers need some big buckets to keep within striking distance. With under three minutes left, James hit a much needed three pointer to put LA up by one. A couple of possessions later, James hit a much needed lay-up to tie up the game with 1:14 left in regulation.
James tried to hit a three point shot at the end of regulation to end the game, but it hit the back iron and the Lakers had to win it in overtime. Matthews, Schroder, and Harrell hit big bucks down the stretch to pull out the win against OKC in OT.
James finished with 28 points, 12 assists, and 14 rebounds.
