Lakers young superstar puts the world on notice

In a 124-118 win against the Utah, a young rookie in Dalton Knecht surprised a lot of people.

The Lakers got a nice steal in Knecht, but who knew that he would make an immediate impact. The last two games, his name has come out of a lot of people's mouth. Against Utah, he scored 37 points and had everyone scratching their heads trying to stop him.

Usually, Anthony Davis and LeBron James would have the green light to shoot three-point shots in crunch time, but Knecht was like hey, everyone, I could hit shots as well. With the game on the line, he hit crucial shoots down the line and helped the Lakes emerge with a victory. James had high praise for the rookie and said this right after the game.

"They (the Lakers) didn't 'find' DK. The other 16 teams (messed) it up," James said. "You don't 'find' a SEC player of the year." Having high praise and confidence within his teammate, this young can go far with this organization.
