Lakers fall short in preseason debut
The narrative around the Lakers have been the debut of Bronny James and new head coach JJ Reddick, but in their first preseason things did not go as planned.
In James debut, he only scored 2 points in 16 minutes. From the start of the game, LA did a great job with spreading the ball around. Austin Reaves was hot and was baking shoes, cake and buckets as he put his imprint on the game. He finished the game with 16 points.
The fourth quarter for the Lakers felt like a Hell in Cage match with Minnesota. It was a grind it a quarter as LA had trouble finding the bottom of the net. Their defense allowed Minnesota to get to the rim and score easy buckets as they broke the game out and eventually went on to get the 124-107
