Lakers fall short in OT to Hawks 134-132
The Lakers did a great job to hang tough and force OT but came up short as Trey Young hit a dagger late.
For the last two games, LeBron James has not looked like a King protecting his castle. However, that was not the case against Atlanta. He tried to will his team to victory and had some clutch shots in OT. Despite James 39 points, the Lakers' defense was still as a cone protecting the sidewalk.
Young and crew had easy layups when the game was on the line, which hurt the Lakers late on. The game was decided on a Young three as he told the Lakers to go back to LA and regroup. The Lakers have been falling short, and it will be very interesting to see if they will be interested trading a few players to get the boost that they need before the trade deadline.
