Prior to Game 2, the Lakers wanted to get back to playing LA ball, with spreading the ball to their superstars and allowing them to make the right reads. Outside of that, they wanted to run the T-Wolves off the floor. Game 2 was much different than the previous game. Lebron James and Luka Doncic put on a clinic offensively the entire game. They were very active with making the right reads and combined for 52 points.
We can talk all day about the offense, but let's talk about the defense. LA put on a clinic with stopping the inside presence of Rudy Gobert and Jaden Mcdaniels. Gobert was a non-factor as the Lakers did a great job with boxing him out and making it hard for him to get into a groove offensively. Minnesota struggled to get the three-ball going, shooting around 25% at the start of the fourth. Heading into the fourth, the Lakers' offense looked a bit sloppy. They allowed the T-Wolves to hang around and Minnesota took advantage of LA's sloppiness and went on a 10-4 run to cut the lead to 11. James had a few key places late in the game to help the Lakers even the series. Luka had 31 points
