Lakers could not contain Jimmy Butler, as Butler dropped 40 in the Heat's 115-104 victory
Los Angeles- The Lakers' had no answer for the "Bucket" man, as the Heat steal Game 3, 115-104.
At the start of the game, the Lakers had seven turnovers that turned into six fastbreak points for the Miami Heat. LA was very sloppy with the basketball and key players got themselves into foul trouble very early in the half. Anthony Davis, who has had a MVP like series had to watch from the sidelines majority of the first half, as he picked up two quick fouls. LA had a hard time containing Jimmy "Buckets" Butler, as he went on a scoring tangent. He finished the half with 19 points. LA erased Miami's double digit lead to cut it to single digits at the end of the half, 58-54.
Coming out the gate in the second half, Miami went on a 8-0 run to put themselves back into double digits. The Lakers' had trouble containing the perimeter shooters of the Heat. Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson started to light it up behind the arc. The Lakers went on a 8-2 run to end the third quarter and cut the Heats' lead to five, 85-80.
With under two minutes left in the game and the Lakers down by five, Butler went to work and hit a couple of shots that iced the game for the Heat. Butler had a huge night in the victory, as he dropped 40 points, 13 assists, and had 10 rebounds.
The Lakers had four players in double figures.
