Lack of energy is a major concern with moving forward as the 76ers dropped Game 5 120-85
Philadelphia- Lackluster effort put the 76ers in a must win or go home game.
After winning two consecutive games to get back into the series, the 76ers had to return to the blistering sun in Miami and attempt to steal Game 5. Philadelphia had to dig themselves out of a double digit hole early on. Jimmy get buckets Butler was the 76ers' nightmare in the first half. from the start of the whistle, Butler was very aggressive with getting to his spots on the floor and getting his teammates involved with great shot selection.
After digging their way out of a 15 point lead, things got a little scary for the 76ers. Fighting to a rebound, Joel Embiid was hit in his face.He was down for a bit,but ended up staying in the game.Despite nine turnovers, Philadelphia was hanging around at half, 56-44.
For the first four minutes in the second half, the 76ers were out of sync and was drying up the scoring well until James Harden hit a much needed three to somewhat get the 76ers some type of confidence. Outside of Embiid, there were no other players that contributed with keeping the 76ers from drowning in the third. Down by 25 early in the fourth, Doc Rivers decided to wave the white flag and put in his reserves.
Harden finished with 14 points
Embiid finished with 17 points and 5 rebounds
