LA Sparks gave the Fever a headache in a 90-76 win

Bradenton- The Los Angeles Sparks lit up the Indiana Fever in 90-76 victory.

Riquna Williams and Nneka Ogwumike put on a shooting spree against the Fever. Both Williams and Ogwumike demanded the ball when there was a mitch-match, shot the ball around 45%, and put a lot of pressure on the Fever's zone. The Sparks' used a lot of pick and pop action to get Williams free to hit some wide-open jumpers. Williams went 7 of 12 from the three-point strike. A 30-point second quarter for the Sparks nailed the coffin shut for the Fever early in the game.

Candace Parker had a very quiet game, just 6 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds. Parker had a couple of blocks and put pressure on the Fever's offense. The Sparks' defense was impeccable, as they had 35 points off of 24 turnovers. Brittney Sykes was a huge factor on the defensive end. Sykes was very feisty with getting into the passing lanes and challenged Candice Dupree. Sykes had six steals and made it difficult for the Fever to get into a rhythm.

Williams finished the game with 21 points, 1 assist, and 2 rebounds. Ogwumike finished the game with 17 points and three rebounds. The Sparks complete the victory over the Fever and are on a four-game winning spree.
