Kobe Bryant is Proud: LeBron James and the Lakers are back in the Finals since 2010
Orlando- LeBron James and the Lakers close out the Nuggets in Game 5 and will be going back to the NBA Finals.
Los Angles came into Game 5 with one thing on their mind and that was finishing the series off and advancing to the Finals. LeBron James was making his presence felt on the floor. He was willing his team to push the pace of the game. The Nuggets had no answer for James, as he was having his cake and eating it well. Outside of James, the Lakers were punishing the Nuggets in the inside. The Lakers poured it on the Nuggets with good shooting and making Denver pay every time they double James or Anthony Davis.
Alex Caruso was a huge key for the Lakers off the bench. He hassled the Nuggets with getting into their heads, had a couple of steals, and hit some huge buckets to keep the Lakers' lead from diminishing. However, the comeback kids went on a 24-10 run to cut the Lakers' lead to one at the end of the third quarter.
James, Dwight Howard, and Davis turned it on, as they tried to keep the Nuggets from taking the lead. All three players hit some key shots down the stretch to get the 117-107 victory.
James finished with 38 points, 10, and 16 rebounds.
Davis finished with 27 points, 3 assists, and 5 rebounds
